We´re in Mexico

Wonderful Vacation!!!
It is absolutely perfect here. It is hard to believe there are really places like this. Perfect day after day! We are having a great time. We have been to Old Market,Las Calestas for a dinner and show by torch and canlelight, whale watching, a mexican show, loads of sun on the beach, sun, sun, sun. I think I will be coming back every winter. Really there isn´t any place better. Can you believe there is a WalMart and Sam´s club near our resort? The prices on things are about what we pay in the US. But the market is so much fun. We sleep so well listening to the turf which is right by our window. It sounds like a really bad South Dakota storm. Luckily we like thunderstorms. The first night Greg had trouble sleeping because he kept waking up thinking he needed to shut windows because of the storm. Greg´s cold is much better thanks to the medicine he got before we left. We are headed back to the Old Market now. I´m at a cyber cafe, internet is $1 an hour, not bad! Happy Valentine´s Day! I love you all!!!!

It's still winter

The high temperature tomorrow is supposed to be -4F. That is correct, the high is still below zero. So far, no frozen water or sewer pipes on any of the rental houses. The furnace seems to run constantly, which is no big surprise I guess. Last months gas bill was $220 and it was relatively balmy compared to this month. I used to say this kind of weather kept the riff-raff out of this part of the country, but we seem to have our share of that too.
Anyway, enough complaining. In 8 days we will be in Mexico. I can't wait.
